May 18, 2021:  Ruben and Nathanael have their review paper “Deconvolving Contributions to Decoherence in Molecular Electron Spin Qubits: A Dynamic Ligand Field Approach” published in Chemistry, A European Journal out today! The article was selected by the editorial office as part of their Showcase for outstanding review-type articles! We also thank David Cagan for the frontispiece artwork!

May 18, 2021:  Huge congratulations to Nathanael for being a 2021 Hertz Fellowship recipient! 

August 21, 2020: We are excited to finally announce the installation of Cryomagnetics 5T (room temperature bore) and 7T (VTI) magnets to our lab space! These 500lb pieces were hoisted onto the laser table and put into place by Alec and Ryan R. Stay tuned for exciting steady-state and ultrafast magneto-optical studies as a result!

April 29, 2019:  In our first outreach event, the lab enjoyed presenting photochemistry demonstrations to roughly 80 students from Marshall Fundamental Secondary School.  Thank you to the Agapie and See groups for letting us join you in this enriching outreach opportunity.

February 17, 2019:  Many thanks to Dr. Martin Srnec and his computational chemistry research group for hosting Gautam at the J. Heyrovsky Institute of Physical Chemistry in Prague, Czech Republic!  For the past month, Gautam greatly enjoyed learning from Dr. Srnec, post-doc Dr. Mauricio Maldonado, and graduate student Daniel Bim.  Below Martin (top left), Mauricio (bottom left), Dan (bottom right), and Gautam are relaxing after a productive day of research.
